Baptisms

At St. Luke's Episcopal Church, we warmly invite you to celebrate the sacred occasion of baptism in an inclusive and affirming environment. Our dedicated community is committed to welcoming individuals and families of all backgrounds, ensuring that each baptism is a meaningful and joyous experience. With a focus on spiritual growth and connection, we provide a heartfelt setting where you can embark on this significant spiritual journey. Come join us as we honor your faith and celebrate new beginnings together.

St. Luke’s holds baptisms 5 times a year:

  • Baptism of Jesus in the winter,
  • Easter Eve often in the Spring,
  • Pentecost in the summer,
  • St. Luke’s feast day
  • All Saints Day in the Fall.

Baptismal vows can be reaffirmed at the annual Bishop’s visit.

Anyone can be baptized after a conversation with our priest. Classes may be required before or after baptism. Godparents or sponsors must be practicing Christians.
